Valentine Specials 💕

Hi Guys,

I hope you are all doing great so far in 2025 and that life is treating you all great.

I've been a little up and down as my amazing beautiful daughter gave me a mutant cold just after christmas and we're in the middle of Janurary now and I still can't seem to get rid of it totally. However, on the days where I'm not to ill to move, I'm in my sculpting room, sculpting away, making myself feel better.

I decided that i'd make an early start on my next holiday celebration and start creating pieces for Valentines Day and create some speicals. These will still be included in the 200 challenge, they will just be couples, and so specials.

So far i've managed 3 couples, well 2 couples and 1 which has mulitple couples and I'm having so much fun with it.  Each animal that i have chosen for the Valentines Special are endangered or vulnerable animals with a twist, each animal is also Monogamous, having only 1 partner that they pair up with for life. I thought this was perfect for the Valentines pieces and I hope you will too.

I have now offically run out of room in my 2 drying cabinets so tomorrow, 18/01/25 we will be moving things around in the room where the kiln is situated and moving the totally dry sculptures into there, so they can be put straight into the kiln, which will be up and running very very soon now. I know I keep saying we're getting there, but its true, we really are getting there, it just takes time to make sure everything is right and safe.  We very nearly bought a new kiln a couple of weeks ago, it was like mine, but digital and more updated, plus it was larger in size, sadly not quite large enough to justify buying a new one just yet, however if I can find a kiln larger than mine, at a fair price and close enought to collet, I'd certainly buy it.

Anway, back to the drawing board, to choose couple number 4.
