My journey as an animal sculptor has taken me to exhibitions, brought opportunities to share my work with a wider audience, and earned recognition for my dedication to the animal world.
From showcasing my sculptures in galleries to receiving awards and being featured in magazines, each milestone reflects my passion for capturing the character of animals and celebrating the beauty of the natural world.

Sculpting for a Cause
£400 Raised for Dedicated to Dachshunds
I was delighted to donate two bespoke Dachshund sculptures to the charity auction in support of Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD. Thanks to everyone who supported the auction, the fundraiser raised £400 for this wonderful cause.
The charity supports Dachshunds and their owners affected by Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), helping provide guidance and equipment for dogs who are recovering, disabled or elderly.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the fundraiser a success, and especially touched by the kind words the charity shared about my sculptures.

We were incredibly fortunate at Dedicated to Dachshunds to be gifted two beautiful bespoke Dachshund sculptures for our charity auction.
From the very first glimpse of Dee’s work in progress videos on Facebook, it was clear that these were going to be something truly special. Watching each little pup slowly come to life, from the earliest stages right through to the finished pieces, was such a privilege. The love, care and attention to detail that Dee poured into every step of the process shone through in every video she shared.
They aren’t just sculptures; they capture the personality, character and charm that make Dachshunds so beloved. It’s impossible not to smile when you see them.
Dee has an extraordinary gift, but what makes her work even more special is the passion and heart she puts into every creation. Her generosity in supporting our charity means so much, and we are incredibly grateful for her kindness and talent.
If you’re considering a personalised sculpture, I honestly cannot recommend Dee highly enough. What she creates is far more than artwork. It’s something truly meaningful that will be treasured for years to come.

A pinch-me moment — appearing in print!
There’s nothing quite like holding a magazine featuring my work and seeing this journey from clay and chaos find its way onto glossy pages. It’s a proud reminder that passion and persistence really can leave a mark.
Seeing my sculptures and words in print felt surreal. This feature represents so much more than ink on a page; it reflects years of resilience, creativity and my desire to give a voice to the animals I sculpt.
In just 14 months, Dee Goodwill Sculptures had already begun making its mark in the art world. The five-page feature in CoA Collect Art helped share my work and the message of wildlife conservation with a wider audience.

Featured Artist — Northern Potters Association
I was delighted to be featured in a full-page artist profile in the Northern Potters Association quarterly magazine. The article explores my journey from discovering sculpture after a life-changing illness to becoming a self-taught animal sculptor, passionate about wildlife, storytelling and the natural world.
It also highlights my focus on endangered species, my exhibitions and my recognition as Wildlife Storytelling Sculptor of the Year 2026.
This feature is especially meaningful to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to the Northern Potters Association for sharing my story and work with its members.
