Nature’s Narratives
“Every piece tells a story, every sculpture captures a moment.”
Nature’s Narrative’s
Every piece within the Nature’s Narratives collection begins as a block of clay and is entirely hand sculpted without the use of a potter’s wheel. Inspired by wildlife, landscapes and the quiet moments found in nature, each sculptural vessel tells its own story through form, texture and movement.
From mythology and ancient forests to coral reefs, family bonds and gentle encounters, no two pieces share the same narrative. Each is individually crafted, making every sculpture a unique celebration of the natural world.
Although many pieces take the form of a vase or vessel, they are created as works of art first and foremost—designed to be admired, treasured and displayed as lasting reminders of nature’s beauty and the stories it has to tell.
Nature has always inspired my work, but with the Nature’s Narratives collection I wanted to tell more than the story of an animal—I wanted to tell the story of a moment.
Every piece is hand sculpted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Some are inspired by mythology, others by movement, family, curiosity or the quiet beauty found in the natural world. Each sculpture begins with an idea, not a mould or template, and evolves naturally in my hands as I work.
No two pieces are ever the same. Every sculpture is individually created, carrying its own story while remaining part of a growing collection celebrating the wonder of nature.

NN003 – Odin’s Messenger
£500
From ancient clay the ash tree grows,
Where sunlight through its branches flows.
Its roots hold fast through age and strife,
The sacred heart—the Tree of Life.
Around the vessel, silent, slow,
Great Jörmungandr coils below.
The world he binds with endless grace,
Time’s ancient guardian, bound in place.
Above it all, with watchful eye,
A raven waits beneath the sky.
He bears All father’s whispered lore—
One wingbeat… and the gods once more.
Odin’s Messenger is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Every element has been sculpted by hand, allowing the form to evolve naturally before being kiln fired and carefully finished with layered glazes
The vessel is finished in a mottled satin glaze of soft green and turquoise, giving it the appearance of an ancient artefact weathered by time. One face bears the Tree of Life, finished in a matt bronze glaze that catches the light like aged pewter, surrounded by a halo of raised dots representing the sun and the eternal cycle of life.
Encircling the reverse is Jörmungandr, the great World Serpent of Norse mythology, glazed in marcasite tones with mottled layers that reveal two distinct metallic colours, emphasising the serpent’s ancient strength as it coils around the vessel.
Crowning the lid is Odin’s faithful raven, entirely hand sculpted and perched upon a naturally curved branch finished in rich dark and ember browns. The raven is layered first in anthracite before receiving a matt black finish that brings depth to every feather. A single red berry rests gently in his beak, providing the only bright accent to the piece. His body and head are held at a subtle angle, as though listening intently for Odin’s call. Even the branch beneath him carries a slight bend—because in nature, no branch is ever perfectly straight.
Together, these elements tell a story of wisdom, memory and the ancient bonds between the worlds, capturing a moment of quiet anticipation before the messenger takes flight.
NN004 – Dancing Reef
£450
Dancing Reef is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Although the base is inspired by the elegant form of a vase, it is created purely as a sculptural piece, crowned by a hand-sculpted Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle gliding above a vibrant coral reef.
The reef has been individually sculpted to capture the graceful movement of coral swaying beneath the sea, before being finished in layered glazes that bring warmth, depth and the rich colours of an underwater world to life.
Swimming just above the coral is the Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle, the smallest and one of the world’s rarest sea turtles. Every detail has been sculpted by hand, from the gentle curve of its shell to the subtle markings on its flippers. The turtle is positioned at a slight angle, creating the impression that it is gliding effortlessly through the water, dipping towards the reef before turning away with care, as though instinctively protecting the fragile coral beneath.
The composition is designed to capture a fleeting moment in nature—one of quiet grace, balance and respect between two living worlds. The turtle appears weightless, while the flowing reef seems to dance beneath it in the ocean’s gentle currents.
Dancing Reef is a celebration of the beauty and delicacy of marine life, reminding us that the ocean’s greatest wonders are also among its most vulnerable.

NN005 – Soak Up The Sun
£ In Progress
Soak Up The Sun is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Inspired by the form of a living tree, the vessel rises from a trunk-like stem into a broad rounded crown, creating the impression of a tree reaching upwards towards the forest canopy.
Rather than carving branches into the surface, each branch has been individually sculpted and applied by hand. Beginning at the base of the trunk, they twist and climb around the vessel, dividing into smaller limbs as they grow, giving the impression that the tree has formed naturally around the sculpture itself. Once fired, the vessel will be finished in rich green glazes with warm brown branches, echoing the colours of a thriving rainforest.
Perched delicately upon the rounded rim is a Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur, balanced effortlessly as though at home among the treetops. His feet gently grip the edge while his arms rest upon bent knees, open palms turned towards the sky. Gazing upwards, he appears to welcome the warmth of the morning sun, almost in quiet reverence, absorbing its life-giving energy.
A second lemur winds its way around the side of the vessel, carefully making its way through the branches. There is a gentle sense of mischief in its movement, as though quietly approaching its companion, adding warmth and personality to the composition.
The lemurs will be finished true to their striking black and white markings, providing a beautiful contrast against the rich greens and earthy browns of the sculpted tree.
Soak Up The Sun celebrates the simple joy of basking in warmth and light. It is a reminder that nature’s quiet rituals—stretching towards the sun, resting among familiar branches, sharing space with others—are moments of peace that connect every living creature. It captures not only the beauty of the rainforest, but also the contentment found in simply being present.
NN006 – Sheltered
£ In Progress
Sheltered is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Created as a celebration of family, protection and unconditional love, the piece captures a quiet moment shared between two adult giraffes and their calf.
The sculpted vessel forms the heart of the composition, representing both a place of refuge and the foundations upon which new life grows. Rising gracefully from either side, the adult giraffes curve their long necks towards one another, naturally creating a protective heart-shaped embrace. Their gentle posture reflects trust, unity and the unspoken bond shared between lifelong companions.
Nestled safely within the vessel, the young calf peers out with quiet curiosity. Though eager to explore the world beyond, it remains surrounded by the strength and reassurance of its parents. Together, the three figures create a circle of love, where protection is offered not through force, but through presence.
The surface textures echo the distinctive patterns of the giraffe’s coat, while the vessel itself is richly detailed with an organic mosaic of sculpted forms, grounding the family within the landscape they call home.
Sheltered is a tribute to the instinct shared across the natural world to nurture, protect and guide the next generation. It reminds us that home is not simply a place, but the feeling of safety created by those who love us. Whether in the African savannah or our own lives, the greatest shelter is often found in the embrace of family.

NN007 – Nourished
£ In Progress
Nourished is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Inspired by one of the world’s most beloved animals, the piece celebrates the quiet bond between parent and young, capturing a simple moment of learning, trust and togetherness.
The vessel itself is sculpted to resemble woven bamboo, reflecting the forests that giant pandas call home. Rising naturally from this textured form, an adult panda sits comfortably at the top, contentedly holding fresh bamboo as it feeds.
Every detail has been individually sculpted by hand, from the texture of the fur to the segmented stems and delicate leaves.
Below, a curious youngster carefully climbs upwards, determined to join its parent. Its posture conveys both playfulness and purpose, reminding us that every journey begins by following those who guide us. There is no urgency in the scene—only patience, security and the quiet confidence that comes from being close to family.
The composition tells a story that extends beyond food alone. While bamboo provides nourishment for the body, the presence of the parent offers something equally important: guidance, protection and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next.
Nourished is a celebration of the enduring connection between parent and child, reminding us that life’s greatest lessons are often taught not through words, but through example. It is a tribute to the comfort of family, the importance of nurturing those we love, and the gentle moments that shape us throughout our lives.
NN001 – Bosque En Danza – Forest in Dance
SOLD
Bosque En Danza is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Inspired by the quiet rhythm of the natural world, this piece explores movement rather than stillness, transforming clay into the flowing forms of leaves caught in the wind.
Every leaf has been individually sculpted by hand before being carefully arranged to create a vessel that appears to move from every angle. Rather than forming rigid walls, the leaves rise, fold and unfurl around one another, creating a composition that feels light, organic and constantly in motion.
Finished in soft woodland green tones, the sculpture evokes the first leaves of spring, touched by sunlight and carried by a gentle breeze. The flowing forms invite the viewer to imagine a forest alive with movement—the whisper of leaves high in the canopy, grasses rippling like waves across an open meadow, and the quiet breath of the wind weaving its way through the trees.
Though formed from clay, Bosque En Danza seeks to capture something fleeting and intangible: the invisible force that gives life to the landscape. It reminds us that nature is never truly still. Every leaf, every blade of grass and every branch becomes part of an endless dance, choreographed by the wind.
More than a decorative vessel, Bosque En Danza is a celebration of nature’s grace and the beauty found in movement. It invites us to pause, to listen, and to appreciate the gentle rhythms that surround us every day.

NN002 – Brisa Del Mar – Breeze from the Sea
SOLD
Brisa Del Mar is a completely hand-built sculptural vessel, individually crafted from clay without the use of a potter’s wheel. Inspired by the ever-changing movement of the ocean, this piece explores the graceful rhythm of water, transforming solid clay into flowing forms that appear to drift effortlessly with the sea.
Every element has been individually sculpted by hand, each sweeping form rising, curling and folding around the vessel to create a composition filled with movement. The layered contours echo the gentle rise and fall of rolling waves, the sway of delicate sea grasses and the graceful dance of coral and reefs beneath the water’s surface.
Finished in tranquil ocean blue, the sculpture reflects the colours of clear coastal waters, where sunlight filters through the sea and every current brings gentle motion. The flowing forms invite the viewer to imagine standing at the shoreline, watching waves break upon the coast, or diving beneath the surface where an underwater world moves in quiet harmony with the tide.
Although crafted from clay, Brisa Del Mar seeks to capture the fluidity of water—something impossible to hold, yet instantly recognisable. It is a celebration of the sea’s calming rhythm, its endless movement and the life it sustains.
More than a decorative vessel, Brisa Del Mar is an invitation to pause and breathe. It reminds us of the soothing sound of the ocean, the cool sea breeze against our skin, and the timeless dance that has shaped our shores for countless generations.
