Hi everyone!
I hope you are all well and enjoying some of my new pieces!
Well it was a terrible month in April, and I actually came very close to giving up, just selling everything and walking (wheeling) away, but then I decided, No! I have been through much worse than this, and why give those who want to see me fail, the satisfaction of getting what they want.
There were a couple of good things that came from April:
Firstly, a lovely guy in the US who collected my Manatee sculpture, contacted me and requested for me to sculpt his cat Rondo. I accepted Instantly! So I’ve been busy sculpting his cat Rondo who is a beautiful long haired Angora, he was a joy to sculpt and is now drying, as soon as I can fire him, I’ll then go on to weigh him so we can be ready to arrange postage.
Secondly, I was given an award 🤪 it was rather a shock, but it was beautiful recognition that I was being seen for what I am trying to do, secondly I’ve learned a very big lesson in joining clubs and his careful you need to be. So e out there aren’t there to support you at all, they’re to take your money and watch you fall. So I don’t be making that mistake again, believe me.
The award is officially being announced next month, so I’m very excited about that.
I have been working hard to try and get a number of letters of which include my portfolio, to a number of galleries and do hope one day someone will see me and give me the support I’m looking for.
I have started a couple of new series this month, now up on the website, though one doesn’t have a completed piece in it yet, however it will do very soon. I just need my big kiln wiring in and I get my first big piece for the Wall Sculptures fired. I am wanting to do more of these however I dont have a spare wall¡
I want to make them up against a wall or on a board leaning against a wall, but I am truly struggling for space. All I keep hearing is “don’t give up, that home will be yours in the future, just keep sculpting and one day you will be able to support your dreams and make them a reality.
So that’s it for about April into May. I will however try to bring a closer update to you next time.
Don’t forget, the more you share my page and my sculptures, the more people see me, and the more I’m seen, the more likely you can help me build that dream, with my own studio! Then I can open my doors to you!
Enjoy a few pictures below of some of my more recent pieces.
There are no mistakes in art, only your interpretation of art.

The ability to analyze depth and composition to create natural camera movement really changes the game for static image storytelling.
