Since 31st March , I’ve been on an incredible journey as a wildlife sculptor. From my first clay creations to exhibiting my work and being featured in magazines, I’m passionate about creating art that raises awareness for endangered and vulnerable species. Here’s a look at some of my milestones so far.
Awards & Recognitions
Dee’s 1st Award
Dee has been proud to receive her first award for her sculpting of animals and telling a short story about each piece in the form of a rhyme.

8th Exhibition
Gallery: Open Gallery CIC
Exhibition: Flora & Fauna
26 August – 12 September 2026
For this exhibition, Open Gallery were seeking artworks that highlight the rich variety and creativity found in the natural world—plants, animals, landscapes, and the living forces that shape them.
Dee has entered 3 pieces of work in this exhibition, Odin’s Messenger being fresh from the kiln and very popular, Dancing Reef her sea turtle swimming over a reef another new piece to Dee’s collection and finally Tender Tread her little Bengal Slow Loris sat in a leaf. All linked to the earth, animals and landscapes in some way.
7th Exhibition
Open Call for Artists – 39th Community Art Exhibition in Virtual Reality

About Circular ArtSpace
Circular ArtSpace is a not-for-profit gallery based in Bristol, UK, founded in March 2022. We curate physical and virtual exhibitions, as well as artist fairs and pop-up art exhibitions, with a focus on supporting emerging and underrepresented artists. Our physical gallery in Fishponds welcomes around 300 visitors per month, while our VR exhibitions in MetArtSpace attract an average of 600 monthly visitors from around the world.
Dee had 2 beautiufl pieces in this exbibition, a hippo and a gorgous orangutan. This was again a first for Dee as she’d never taken part in a virtual exhibition before, however she found it a joy to take part in.
6th Exhibition
The exhibition ran from 9th – 20th June 2026.
A wonderful exhibition in Sheffield held at the Fronteer Gallery. My beautiful ostrich – Summertime Siesta, wearing her summer hat was exhibited here and was loved by not only the gallery but many of the public that saw her.

This is a lovely little gallery in Sheffield. Filled with contemporary art, they chose something a little different when they chose Dee’s sculptures, and they enjoyed seeing the 2 pieces that Dee had placed in the exhibition

Featured in a global magazine sent to galleries and collectors. Dee had a 5 page spread about her sculpting, how she arrived where she did and what she hopes for the future for her and the animals that she’s trying to help.
2nd Exhibition
Exhibition: AOAA Autumn Exhibition
Gallery: The Station Gallery, The Station, Richmond, Yorkshire
Dates: 25th September – 22nd October 2025
This exhibition is set over 2 levels and is all about the animals. The exhibition is run and organised by Association of Animal Artists along with raising money for the chosen charity Wild Welfare from any sales that are made within those dates.
Dee had 3 sculptures that were chosen for this exhibition and was there for the opening night. A huge experience for Dee seeing her sculptures up in an exhibition where the public were walking around enjoying the opening night.
1st Exhibition
Exhibition: Still Celebrating Yorkshire
Gallery: Badger in the Wall, Clapham, North Yorkshire
Dates: 19th July – 16th August 2025
Yorkshire Tongue Twister and Yorkshire Trotter where exhibited by Dee at the Gallery for a month and the public gave some lovely feedback regarding her pieces. The Saddleback Pig wearing a monocle captured the publics eyes giving them great amusement. Being Dee’s first exhibition Dee was extremely excited about this huge move forward in her sculpture journey.
International Collector‘s
Dee Makes Her Mark In The U.S. March 2026
First International Exhibition
Dee’s sculptures have gained recognition worldwide, with her first piece recently being shipped to the United States of America in March 2026
Featured in a Global Magazine
Dee’s work has also been picked up by a prestigious art magazine and featured in a 5 page spread, reaching galleries and collectors globally.
Endangered Species Awareness
By gaining international recognition, Dee hopes to spread awareness about the struggles of endangered species and the importance of wildlife conservation.
Commission’s
Dee’s First International Commission
Dee was so happy to receive her first international commission request in March 2024 from a lovely family in the US.
Her sculpture is of Rondo a Turkish Angora Cat named Rondo.
He’s a very handsome boy with a beautiful cream/golden colour with soft long fur and Dee as always has put her best in to the piece along with a huge amount of love.
Little Rondo arrived safely in America and Dee was surprised with a number of wonderful photographs of Rondo meeting his sculpture. She also received a lovely surprise on social media when she saw the photographs along with a message from David his owner saying:
“Rondo “the Sculpture” has arrived in the US! Made the trip overseas from the UK without a scratch. Rondo loves his little brother. Great thanks to Dee Goodwill! View her other creations at https://deegoodwillsculptures.co.uk“

Second time in Print
Featured Artist – Northern Potters Association
A feature in the Northern Potters Association magazine
I was delighted and genuinely surprised to be featured in a full-page artist profile in the Northern Potters Association quarterly magazine.
The feature shares my journey from discovering sculpting after a life-changing period of illness, to becoming a completely self-taught sculptor with a growing passion for wildlife, storytelling and the natural world. It explores the development of my work, my focus on endangered and at-risk species, and the journey I have taken since first picking up clay in 2024.
It also highlights some of the exhibitions I have participated in, my appearance in an international art magazine, and my recent recognition as Wildlife Storytelling Sculptor of the Year 2026 in the UK Enterprise Awards.
Having only discovered sculpture a little over two years ago, being given a full-page feature by an organisation of fellow potters and ceramic artists is incredibly meaningful to me. It is a wonderful reminder of how far my work has come in such a short time, and an encouragement to keep developing my voice as an artist.
I am incredibly grateful to the Northern Potters Association for this wonderful surprise and for giving me the opportunity to share my story and my work with their members.
