Terms and Conditions for Purchasing a Sculpture
Before purchasing a sculpture from Dee Goodwill Sculptures, make sure you fully understand and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Ready-Made Sculptures
Finished sculptures that are already completed and available for sale must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.
Delivery & Shipping
We are happy to ship globally, however shipping fees will vary depending on your location.
For local buyers within a reasonable traveling distance, Dee or Jools can personally deliver your sculpture if you require. A small petrol fee will be applied, included in overall postage costs, ensuring your piece arrives safely and intact.
For locations beyond reasonable travel, your sculpture will be carefully packaged and sent via secure courier or special delivery service. All shipped sculptures are professionally packaged, tracked, and insured for their full value.
Inspection & Dispatch
Every sculpture is carefully inspected, photographed, and documented before it leaves my studio. This provides proof of condition and ensures each piece is packed to travel as safely as possible.
I take packaging very seriously (some customers say I’m better at packing than sculpting — I’ll let you decide!). Each piece is wrapped and boxed with multiple layers of protection to give it the best chance of arriving intact.
Damage in Transit
Although every effort is made to protect your sculpture, damage can occasionally occur during shipping. If your sculpture arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with clear photographs of both the piece and the packaging showing damage to both.
I will arrange a replacement sculpture or another piece of your choice, and all related costs will be covered. Your satisfaction is my priority, no matter where in the world you are.
Orders are securely packaged and dispatched within the stated time frame for your purchase.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer.
Cancellations & Deposits
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase.
After this time, work may already have begun on packaging your sculpture, so this covers loss on materials, studio time, and preparation.
If you need to make a change to your address or have any concerns, please contact me as soon as possible and I’ll always do my best to help.
Commissions & Delivery
All commissions are created to order with care and attention.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 8 hours of purchase.
After this time, work may already have started. For commissions, once sculpting has begun, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
If you need to make changes or have concerns, please contact me as soon as possible and I will always do my best to help.
Damage in Transit
Every effort is made to ensure your sculpture reaches you safely. However, very occasionally, damage can occur during shipping.
If your sculpture arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible and send clear photographs of both the sculpture before opening to show damage to the package, pictures of you opening the packaging and clear pictures of the damage to the sculpture.
If all requirements are met I will arrange a replacement commission sculpture or another piece of your choice that is of the same value, and I will cover all related costs.
Where you are in the world doesn’t matter — your satisfaction does. I want every piece to arrive safely and make you smile.
Changes & Adjustments
I’m happy to make reasonable adjustments to your commission during the sculpting process.
Minor changes such as repositioning a limb, tilting a head, or small detail tweaks are free of charge.
Major additions or modifications, such as adding new elements or increasing the size of the sculpture, will be quoted and agreed upon before work continues.
This ensures your commission turns out exactly as you want while protecting studio time and materials.
Booking & Payment
A £50 booking deposit secures your commission and reserves your place in my schedule. Once work has begun, this deposit is non-refundable, covering materials, preparation, and studio time. The remaining balance is due before dispatch.
Delivery Options
Commissions can be personally delivered by Dee or Jools if within a reasonable traveling distance. A small petrol fee will be applied, included in overall postage costs.
For locations beyond reasonable travel, a secure courier or special delivery service will be arranged. All shipped commissions are professionally packaged, tracked, and insured to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
